My Favorite Song
This song is the worst song in the world. The music sucks and the lyrics suck. But on the plus side, I think Rebecca Black is making a lot of money from it (+ 60 million views on youtube; I imagine a lot of itunes sales).

follow up from previous post
my old director thinks this is one of the best graphic title sequences ever made. (i called the graphic design team that did it because he wanted them for his next film. price tag = $250K.) it may only be worth watching if you're interested in the middle east, but i still think it's really well done.

Husbands Are Funny
Especially in regards to their wives and terrorist lists. And of course he is Pakistani.
i like to guess....
who posted things just by the title and the initial content of the post. i'm usually right. here's how i classify things in my head:
boris - usually of the "this will alter your world perception" variety; or completely inane and silly; usually lasting under 30 seconds
shehzi - culturally interesting; short snippets that link out to other things; usually lasting more than 30 seconds
angad - more quirky, less serious, usually involving data
amar - less quirky, more serious, usually involving data
me - mix between boris and shehzi, no data

Dating Patterns
OK Cupid is a fast growing dating website that has received + $5 million of venture capital funding. They recently published an analysis on dating preferences of their user base
Their analysis is based on 82 million messages that were sent from / to their different users. For each message, they look at the race of the person sending the message / race of the person receiving the message.
+ Unsurprisingly, white people send and receive the most messages. But this is just because > 70% of OK Cupid users are white
+ All races exhibit a preference for their own race. White own-race preference is 2.9x, black is 4.3x, latino is 4.2x, and asian is 11.5x
+ Own-race preference is highest for people who, in real life, see more people of their own race. Blacks who live in cities with more black people show more evidence of own-race preference
+ On a per-person basis, Asians are the most desirable (once you assume each race has equal number of users). Then Latinos, then blacks, and then whites.

I've been looking for a personal executive assistant for quite some time. The screening process can be so difficult! I know most people can't empathize, but atleast Zach can!

Famous Last Words
This link contains an assortment of famous last words. How one authenticates these, I don't know. I'll take David Smith's word for now. Favorite so far:
Voltaire (1694-1778) "This is no time to make new enemies." (When asked on his deathbed to forswear Satan.)
