My Summer Bucket List (Draft)
I will soon begin my summer list. I want suggestions so that I can get to 50 items and I want people to do things with me. Give me feedback !

I think #17 would be more impressive if you performed 5 minutes of stand-up comedy. Writing it is first is good, but then you should perform it
ReplyDelete26, please.
ReplyDeleteOk. Let's try to be thorough here:
ReplyDelete5: let's do this together
11: let's do this together
13: if you are going to learn HTML, first, you'll be learning XHTML; second, you should also learn CSS, XML, and some JS. Happy to help; I'd suggest doing W3C schools
14: seems pretty aggressive; I feel like it defeats the purpose of the list if things are out of reach
16: this will be hard
21: extend this to something like "busk and earn $20"
27: let's do this together
28: that was a sweet New Yorker article
32&33: these overlap
38: eh
You should add (feel like it should be fun things, not just 'impressive' things):
1) do mushrooms
2) go to every yankee's game for a week (& catch a foul ball?)
3) ride the entire length of every subway line & mnr line
4) go sailing
5) hike the entire long trail in VT
6) be able to go into a restaurant and be offered "the usual"
I'll keep thinking
Let's definitely do those together. Let me know when you have time and I'll pencil you in.
ReplyDelete1) I had this on there but then took it off because I had been showing too many people my list and was embarrassed (I also had beer, bong, shot in one breath and removed that)
2) I don’t like baseball, but maybe another sport can substitute
3) Is ridiculous, but I may add something like explore “the end of the line”
4) I will add sailing if you and Turner will invite me sailing.
5) Does the long trail involve VT breweries?
6) I will add to the life list, but it’s unlikely to occur this summer
1) fair
ReplyDelete2) fair
3) yeah; that's what I meant
4) will do
5) I'm not sure...it goes through VT and ends in Candada
6) lame
